The legends of native peoples from around the world are a rich source of literature and oral tradition.
Our unit contains ten lessons, each featuring a legend from one of the world's native groups. Creative Task Cards have been developed for independent learning. Included in this resource are suggested teaching strategies, themes, answers, reader's theatre scripts, and follow-up activities including: Comprehension Questions, Fun With Words, Investigations, Creative Writing and Art Activities. This Theatre & Folktales lesson provides a teacher and student section with a variety of scripts, creative writing activities, crossword, word search and answer key to create a well-rounded lesson plan.
