About the Novel:
Alice in Wonderland follows a young girl’s journey into a land filled with whimsy. Alice is a curious child. One day, she sees a white rabbit dressed in a waistcoat and holding a watch. “I’m late” says the white rabbit. Alice finds this odd. Rabbits don’t talk. Do they? She follows the strange creature into a rabbit-hole and is surprised to then find herself falling. It seems as though she is falling forever. Finally, Alice reaches the bottom, only to find herself trapped in a room filled with locked doors. The only one that fits a key that mysteriously appears is too small to fit into. Peeping through the keyhole, Alice sees a wonderful garden. To get to this garden, Alice first needs to travel through Wonderland, meeting strange creatures and surviving her encounter with the Queen of Hearts. Throughout her journey, Alice is challenged to reflect on her sense of self as she constantly questions her reality.
