How to Use this Graphic Organizer:

There are 3 types of resilience. Psychological resilience is being able to adapt to hardships. Having mental toughness. Being able to stay calm in a crisis. Emotional resilience is knowing your feelings and why you experience them in certain situations. Being able to contain your emotions and letting them out in a healthy way. Physical resilience is being able to bounce back from sickness or injury. Knowing when to rest and recover the body.

Each type of resilience is represented on the graphic organizer. Write examples of how you are resilient in each area. For example, you may show psychological resilience when you go on to win the final game after losing several in a row. You may show emotional resilience when you get annoyed with a co-worker but don’t show it. You may show physical resilience when you take a rest day after pushing yourself too hard when exercising. Some examples may overlap into multiple types. List your own examples in the Venn diagram.
