Description
These carefully sequenced, creative, and often humorous math exercises will give your students important math, reading, and reasoning practice--and they are lots of fun. Each page contains one developmentally appropriate math problem, written with easy-to-read phonetic words, along with age-appropriate high frequency words. A child reads the problem, illustrates it on the page, and then fills in the answer. One teacher we know tells her students that when they draw their solutions, they are giving her a "postcard to their brains!" Did a student get the wrong answer because he could not read the words, or because he could not do the math? A look at his illustration will tell you.
